 1. Account creation

1.1 You must ensure that the details you provide are complete and accurate

1.2 Any change to your details must be notified to us by email – boxes@refusedurham.org.uk

1.3 The details you provide are governed by our privacy policy which is available here.

2. Payment

2.1 We accept payment via bank transfer or through Paypal

 3 Your delivery

3.1 The nature of Waste Not Boxes means that we cannot guarantee the contents of the box supplied.

3.2 You must not resell any products ordered from us.

 4. Delivery and delivery instructions

4.1 Delivery will be made only to postcodes that we have advertised. Orders to postcodes outside of our designated area will not be delivered, you will be notified and refunded before the Saturday delivery day.

4.2 Please return the green box when we come back the following week

4.3 Delivery for monthly box orders will be made on Thursday afternoons

4.4 We cannot leave cold and frozen produce outside your house, for food safety reasons. You must be there to accept the delivery: if not, the box will be returned to us and you will not be refunded.

4.5 In order to maximise efficiency and reduce food miles your order will be delivered on a set day of the week. We will aim to keep this day fixed, however, we reserve the right to change it and we will notify you of any such changes.

4.6 We cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss where we are unable to deliver to you. We will of course refund you if by any fault of ours we are unable to deliver a box.

5 Cancellation

5.1 You may cancel you box any time up to midday on Tuesday. Send us an email jonny@refusedurham.org.uk and we will process a refund. If you cancel your box after that time, you will not be refunded.

5.2 You may cancel your account with us at any time by email. Suspending or cancelling your account will not affect or remove any rights or liabilities accrued up until that point.

6 Miscellaneous

6.1 We guarantee that our products will be of a satisfactory condition and quality (with the exception of defects caused by your mis-use, neglect or by accidents while the goods were in your possession).

6.2 Due to the nature of food surplus redistribution, we cannot guarantee consistency in quantity and variety of food. One week you may get flowers and milk, others not. We will do our best to make the boxes good value and quality.

6.3 Please notify us if you are dissatisfied with the product. If upon examination they are defective or faulty we will gladly refund you the price paid for the box.

6.4 We accept no liability in relation to representation, including unforeseeable losses, and losses to a business (loss of reputation, profits, trade or trade opportunities).

6.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions can limit our liability to your death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees or agents.

6.6 We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control.
