Thoughtful Catering by REfUSE

We have taken the decision at REfUSE to take a break from providing Conscious Kitchen external catering, due to staff absences and lack of capacity at the moment. This was a really hard decision to come to, as we’ve worked so hard to build the Conscious Kitchen brand and reputation, and love providing food for all sorts of events. But, for now, we believe this is a good decision for the overall strategic aims of REfUSE. We will be continuing all of our other projects, intercepting tonnes of food from otherwise going to waste each month, running weekly restaurant nights, our supported volunteering programme, education projects and lots more… (You can find out more about all of these on the other pages of our website) If you have any questions, you can direct them to info@refusedurham.org.uk. Conscious Kitchen is the catering side of REfUSE CIC: any profits we make through private catering go straight back into our community and food waste-fighting work. Weddings, birthday parties, canapes, conferences and festivals: we’ve catered hundreds of events, big and small, over the years.
